The 2nd SUFE Economic History Workshop Institutions, Ideas, and Social Organizations: Exploring New Approaches to Chinese Economic History will be held on September 10-11, 2016, in Shanghai. The conference is sponsored by the School of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). We welcome papers in all areas of economic history. The final topics, however, will be determined by the interests of the committee members. Each presentation will be given one hour. The deadline for submission is July 15, 2016, and the submitting author will be notified of the program committee’s decision by August 15, 2016.
