In the recently announced final list of the 2023 Contemporary Economic Doctoral Innovation Project, Yuan Gao, a doctoral student from the class of 2023 advised by Professor Hongzhong Yan, was successfully selected with his thesis titled Clan Networks, Public Goods Provision, and Social Governance in the Qing Dynasty — Centered on the Changes in Social Governance Patterns, becoming one of the outstanding doctoral dissertations of the year.
