On December 22, the director of the Economics Department of University of California, Los Angeles, Professor Kathleen McGarry visited the School of Economics and had a meeting with the Executive Associate Dean of SOE, Professor Guan Gong and the Assistant to Dean, Professor Kang Rong.
At the meeting, Professor Guan Gong introduced the current development of the School, especially the Center for Oversea Studies and Exchange, hoping that we can have further exchange and cooperation with the UCLA in the future. Professor Kathleen McGarry introduced the economic department and their master’s program. She also expressed her hope on further cooperation with the SOE.
Before the meeting, Professor Kathleen McGarry held an admissions information session at the SOE, introducing their master’s program to the students and answered the questions raised by the students participating the session.
