September 14, 2009 saw a welcome ceremony held for SOE's new undergraduate, graduate and PhD students of this year at the lecture hall of SUFE Administration Building to celebrate a new academic beginning for those promising talents of the future.
SOE Party Secretary Lin Cheng, Executive Associate Dean Yonggang Hu, Associate Dean Jijun Xia, Vice Party Secretary Weidong Yang, Assistants to Dean Qinyue Zhang and Xinyu Qi attended the ceremony and delivered welcome speeches to the 181 undergraduate and 112 graduate students. A brief introduction to the past, present and rapid development of SOE was given, and the addresses also conveyed the sincere hope from all SOE faculty that the promising students can lay a solid knowledge foundation, seek all-round self-development and achieve success in their study, career and life.
