The number of approved projects sets a new recent record and ranks among the top within the university.

The newly funded projects cover a broad spectrum of cutting-edge research fields, including economic history, game theory and market design, theoretical and applied econometrics, energy economics, labor markets, and macroeconomics. The outcomes reflect a promising pattern: steady progress among principal investigators on General Programs and the rapid emergence of young talent.

In recent years, the School of Economics has targeted the development of an independent knowledge system for Chinese economics and advanced organized research in a comprehensive manner. Leveraging national platforms such as the Key Laboratory of Mathematical Economics (Ministry of Education) and strengths in key disciplines, the school regularly organizes NSFC proposal workshops, topic validation seminars, and application tutoring sessions to refine proposals and strengthen whole-process management. It actively builds high-level academic exchange platforms to encourage faculty to conduct research aligned with major national strategic needs and disciplinary frontiers. A full-chain research support system featuring forward-looking planning, ongoing tutoring, and meticulous proposal polishing has thus been established.
