SOE Associate Prof. Kai Yang’s Project Selected into Shanghai Chenguang Program

According to the latest bulletin of Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Education Development Foundation, Associate Prof. Kai Yang's project, "Identification and Estimation of Nonparametric and Semiparametric Spatial Autoregressive Models", was selected into the Shanghai Chenguang Program of 2019. This year, 5 professors at SUFE were on the list.  

Dr. Kai Yang (Ph.D., The Ohio State University) is currently an associate professor at SOE with area of specialization in econometrics. His teachings include Advanced Econometrics and Intermediate Macroeconomics. Since joining the School of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance & Economics in 2016, he has made outstanding research achievements and has published papers in Journal of Econometrics and Regional Science and Urban Economics.  

Shanghai Chenguang Program, co-organized by Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Education Development Foundation, aims at funding associate professors and professors under the age of 30 in their research work. So far, 5 projects of SOE have been selected for the program.
